You can still have a blast, on a budget! Here's what we bought, made and put together to make my son's construction themed party come to life!
Now, I've never considered myself a "Pinterest Mom," but I will say with Amazon party kits and some inspiration veggie trays, all the small details made the biggest difference.
[Sliced yellow bell peppers, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, greek yogurt with a Ranch seasoning packet, and Cheesecake Factory "Brown Bread"-- all from Walmart.] We took some other Pinterest Inspiration trucks and made them our own! So easy to have grab and go snacks for little ones!

This was super easy, and you can find all the ingredients at Walmart or your local grocery store!
Dirt Cake Shovel Construction Cups
This kit on Amazon was soooo worth it, and both kids and adults loved the idea. We followed a simple dirt and worms recipe and the shovel and signs just completed the look!
Best Chocolate Cake + Frosting
This chocolate cake recipe was so good, we decided to use it for the 2nd year in a row! Because we knew there would be more littles this time around we just took out the espresso addition, but we had it included last year and it was delicious. Other dump truck cakes also used chopped Reese's cups, but we found these fake chocolate rocks for just $3!!!
Complete Construction Decoration Package
We knew we didn't want a full on yellow/orange construction vibe so this kit was a little more neutral and natural with the blue accents. We ended up buying a few more plates, but overall the amount of balloons and small decorations made everything so cohesive.
Tonka Truck "Chip Tray"
My son was previously gifted a large metal Tonka truck, so we used it was an impromptu "chip tray" and just had it "dump" into a bowl! So many compliments and so easy!
We had a total Builder Blast!
