How to Heal your Relationship with Food

What does it mean to really audit your relationship with food, and find freedom?

Food shouldn't feel like a 4 letter word, but many times it does...

Are you tired of the macro counting, constant voices in your head saying that you can't "cheat" or there are too many "bad" foods on your plate?

Do you feel confident in your ability to choose foods that will nourish and support your body, or do meal times create anxiety and fear?

Food should not be a 4 letter word. You were created for so much more than that.

❌ You should not feel stressed or anxious trying to prepare meals.

❌ Regardless of nutrient density, no foods should be “demonized” because it can foster fear and rigid restriction patterns.

❌ Good and Bad food labels are incredibly dogmatic and don't foster space for growth or change

❌ Your identity should not be based on your food choices

If you feel like this is the case you could use some food freedom! So try out some of these easy steps to start healing your relationship with food.

🌟 Try adding in one new food a week that you felt apprehensive about

🌟 Make food fun! If meal prepping is getting tedious, try a new recipe with a friend — take the pressure off yourself to be perfect

🌟 Seek professional help for more in depth counsel if you feel like you could be struggling with disordered eating

Food freedom takes time and effort to heal your mind, body and soul from the lies you may have built into your identity.

If you haven’t heard it from anyone else before, you’re worthy of healing and it CAN happen!

Don't just take it from me, though! Listen to hear how previous Pro Bodybuilder, Adison Barnhart, walked away from the stage completely in pursuit of food freedom and helping women find the same healing.
