Originally from Little Rock, Arkansas, Dr. Rachel Fritz grew up playing soccer and softball, which developed her passion for rehabilitation and physical therapy. She received her Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology from Texas Christian University, and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. As she progressed through the curriculum, Rachel came to realize the importance of pelvic floor rehabilitation and the impact dysfunction can have on day-to-day life. She continued her education in the realm of pelvic therapy through the American Physical Therapy Association Section on Pelvic Health, and throughout her clinical rotations. In this juicy episode, Dr. Fritz spills everything your doctor never told you about pelvic health. From constipation, painful sex myths, and the importance of pelvic floor health in pregnancy and postpartum, Rachel shares everything you need to know about your pelvic floor.
