Going from Nurse to Patient in Western Medicine | Breanna White

Breanna White received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Texas Christian University. She is a Registered Nurse on a antepartum/postpartum unit in Cincinnati, OH where she lives with her husband, Caydn, two labrador retrievers, Mojo and Findlay, and is expecting her twin boys later this spring. In this episode Brea shares her own journey into motherhood after miscarriage, what it's been like to work in western medicine with her own more holistic medicine convictions, and how her perspective has shifted since being in the bed versus the bedside during her twin pregnancy. We cover ways that we can be advocates in our own health care journey, holistic options in pregnancy and postpartum, and ways she felt most encouraged stepping into motherhood after loss. I am so thankful for Brea's heart and wisdom, and definitely felt encouraged with what she shares to be a better advocate for myself in the future.
